The next book going out to the ARC Team will be Saving Debbie.

What the heck does ARC Team mean in simple English?   show more

ARC is a fancy term for a free Advance Review Copy, Advance Reader Copy, or some people call it Author Review Copy. It is a complimentary (free) copy of the book for early reviewers.

Erin’s ARC team is eligible to get these free books. 🙂

You also need to be old enough to read naughty words.

To join the team, please fill out the form below. 🙂

Do I get free books?   show more

Yes! 🙂 🙂 🙂

You will get Erins’s new ebooks early, about a week or two before they’re published.

Generally, you’ll receive the retail version of the ebook, with the addition of a notice that the book is an ARC copy.

An ARC copy is a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

The ARC team is only offered new release books.

Books previously published are not offered. 🙁

Do I need to review every book?   show more

Nope.

Skip any book you want. Skip more than one if you want.

Whatever fits your schedule 🙂

How do I get the book?   show more

It’s easy! As soon as a new Erin Swann book is ready for the ARC Team, you’ll receive an email with a link to your copy of the book on the BookSprout website.

If you’d like to read the book and feel you might like to it review it, fill out the form to request your ARC. You’ll then be able to download your book from BookSprout, the service we use to deliver ebooks. Then you’ll read it and we hope you’ll review the book. Your review can be as simple or elaborate as you like, but we do ask that you not reveal any spoilers.

Per Amazon’s terms, as part of your review you should include the words, “I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.” (Or something to that effect.)

When the book is published, you’ll receive an email from BookSprout with the link to the book on Amazon, Goodreads & BookBub, as well as directions on how to post your review on Amazon and log it with BookSprout. If after reading the book, you don’t feel like leaving a review, just note that on the Booksprout page, no biggie.

It’s as simple as that!  🙂

Just read, post your review, and let us know about it.

What is BookSprout?   show more

BookSprout is a website used by Erin and hundreds of other authors to deliver ARC copies of new releases.

BookSprout handles the distribution and logs the reviews so that Erin has time to write more books.

Erin has a hard enough time fixing the spelling errors without also trying to handle ARC distribution.

It may look daunting the first time, but it’s not that hard.

How much time do I have to review the book?   show more

Release day would be great, a week or so after you receive the ARC copy of the book. But if your schedule is as crazy as ours, whenever you can get to it would be appreciated.

If you’re too busy to make the time frame, no problem, don’t sign up for the book, and wait for the next one. With two daughters, we understand that life gets in the way and sh*t happens. You won’t be removed from the team for skipping a book. You don’t even need to let us know you’re passing, and you’re welcome to skip several books in a row.

Our only stipulation is this:
If you request an ARC of a particular book, you are stating your interest in reading and reviewing the book.  You don’t have to review the book if you change your mind, or something comes up, but if you accept the free book and choose not to leave a review, please send us an email.

What if I don’t like the book?   show more

How is that possible? 🙁

Hey, it happens. We all come across books that don’t do it for us, even from our favorite authors. Your honest review is all we ask for, and all we want. Tell it like it is and leave the review you feel good about.

Don’t worry about Erin, with two daughters how could anybody not be used to a lot of criticism? If your kids always like your cooking, feel free to send Erin the recipes.

All books and all people are different. But if reading the word c*ck a few dozen times isn’t for you, then you might not want to be on the team, because Erin has finally gotten used to typing the word. 🙂

What if I find a typo or even two?   show more

OMG. 🙁

The copy you get will have been through editing,  but trust us, writing about a hundred thousand words and getting all of them korect correct is a lot harder than it looks.

Even with an editor checking over your shoulder.

Keep in mind that Erin writes some dialog and some internal thoughts that are not proper English. Those are on purpose because the normal humans we know don’t use proper English all the time.

Earn Erin’s gratitude and the exalted title of Super Senior Expert Typo Hunter Extraordinaire by sending us an email. It would be greatly appreciated.  🙂

You also may get the chance to name a minor character in an upcoming book. Sorry, not the Hero or the Heroine.
