Welcome back to the town of Bootleg Springs where the bonfires are big, the softball games rowdy, the town mascot is a chicken, and “bootleg justice” is only a short walk to the lake away. Bowie Bodine has made it crystal clear to Cassidy Tucker that they aren’t going to ever be a thing. Cassidy is his best friends little sister, and besides, he made a promise to keep her in the “friend zone.” It’s a promise he intends to keep, and one she’s intent on making him break. Ending up in the cabin next to Scarlett Bodine, limits his ability to hide from the world. The firecracker that is Scarlett is determined to loosen up the button down politician and drag him into living fully.
